Callaway Gardens is owned and operated by the non-profit, 501(c)3 Ida Cason Callaway Foundation. The Foundation depends on charitable gifts to continue its environmental mission of conservation, education and land stewardship as well as to expand and improve the Gardens. Our supporters’ generous tax-deductible donations fund worthy endeavors such as:

  • Annual field trips for nearly 30,000 school children
  • The protection of endangered plants and animals
  • Equipment and resources such as binoculars, microscopes, nature films and books to help educate guests about sustaining our natural environment
  • Keeping our Birds of Prey Program aflight - CLICK HERE for Adopt-A-Raptor brochure
  • Maintaining the quality of our 13 lakes
  • World-class educational exhibits and lectures
  • College intern program

Donors may give toward a specific need or give a general gift that will be used wherever it is most needed. In addition to special projects, and specific equipment and supplies, funding is needed continually for daily operating expenses in the Gardens and its many attractions. Your financial support is one of many ways you can make a real difference in stewardship not only of Callaway Gardens, but of our precious planet. We can’t do it without you!
